Looking for a lightweight rod for your J series engine? These rods paired with the included custom alloy bolts are conservatively rated to 9000RPM/1100HP.

It is a common myth that aluminum rods are for race-only cars, many car enthusiasts run aluminum rods year around in their street/strip cars. It is only when you start pushing the rods to their limits that yearly tear downs and inspections are required, which you should be doing anyways if you are making 1100hp!

These rods save over 816g of weight from your rotating assembly, almost 2lbs! That is a 25% weight savings, which directly correlates to more HP and faster revs.

Aluminum rods act as a shock absorber for your crankshaft, cushioning each blast from the power stroke.

These rods are for all J series applications, and can be custom tailored to your specs if required. All aluminum rods require use of a bearing retainer pin, and the lower bearing half will need to be drilled to accept it. (we can supply pre-drilled bearings and you can also send in your bearings for the procedure, which we do for free with purchase)
